Introduction


Now that you're beginning to accumulate information such as notes, web clips, forwarded emails, etc, into your Evernote default notebook, what can you do with this information to help you study and be successful in your classes, clubs, and other interests? Your Evernote Personal Knowledge Base (PKB) has features that will help you organize your notes for success!

Information is not personal knowledge until you have done something to make it meaningful to you. In this tutorial, we provide some suggestions for how you can organize your information in ways that make sense for record keeping, studying, research, etc. Evernote has several features to help you make the information in your Personal Knowledge Base (PKB) more meaningful and therefore more useful. We describe how you can use tags, notebooks and stacks of notebooks to organize your notes. After a video that provides an overview of the process, the "On Your Own" tutorial guides you through creating your course notebooks as well as your own tagging "system."
